‘Bad habits of expectancy’ – call for papers

Philip Larkin Society Conference 8th – 9th December 2022

As part of the centenary year, the Philip Larkin Society is very pleased to be able to host an academic conference at the University of Hull in December. This conference aims to present current thinking about Larkin and his contemporaries in a lively and interactive programme including keynote speaker and leading Larkin commentator, Guardian journalist Rachel Cooke. The conference comes ahead of publication of our brand new academic journal, due to launch in 2023, with the working title Post War. If you are interested in submitting a paper for the conference, then please do. Tickets for attending delegates will be on sale soon and all are welcome.
