This Day Dawning – Maurice Rutherford

Maurice Rutherford was born and educated in Hull and spent a working life, with the interruption of some five years’ wartime military service, aa technical writer in the ship-repairing industry on both banks of the Humber. His first two volumes, Slipping the Tugs and This Day Dawning were well received. A past editor of the workshop magazine Proof, he served for a number of years as a consultant and management adviser to Lincolnshire & Humberside Arts.
